Lacey Youth Acting Winter Session coming up in January!
Mondays at 6 pm for ages 7-9
Mondays at 7 pm for ages 10-13
Creative Writing and Acting for Teens on Saturdays!

Youth Acting: Play Production │7 – 13 yrs
Young student actors will put on their very own play! We’ll learn stage skills through exciting improvisation exercises and fun games that promote creativity, confidence, and teamwork. Learning in a positive and supportive environment, students gain confidence and learn the basics of dramatic expression. Students will perform a fun filled comedic adventure at the Jacob Smith House on Monday, March 26th @ 6:30 pm for family & friends. Taught by Melissa Graves of Youth Acting Studio. (Note: Dress Rehearsal Sun. March 25th: 4 pm – 5:30 pm ages 7-9, and 5:50 pm ages 10-12 at the Jacob Smith House)

Youth Creative Writing │10 – 13 yrs
In this beginner’s class, students will write their own anthology of fiction over a ten week course. We’ll play games that stimulate creativity, learn fun writing exercises and writing prompts, and experiment with different forms of writing (poetry, play, personal nonfiction, short stories fiction, long-form fiction stories). Students will explore their creativity and discover their writer’s voice. Our final class will be a short reading for parents of students’ favorite work, and each student will leave the class with a printed collection of their work. (Class meets at another location TBD on March 17th)

March 25th at 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Jacob Smith House. Class meets at alternate location TBD on March 17th.)
